Why A Boot Camp?
A Fitness Boot Camp is a great way to burn calories and get a fun and challenging workout without the high cost of a personal trainer. On average, you'll burn anywhere from 700-1,000 calories during an hour of boot camp!

Why Boot Camp U Austin?
We are different than a lot of the bigger boot camps in the area because we keep our groups small, you get a ton of personal attention, every workout is different, the trainers are educated and are happy to spend time with you outside of class if needed. We care about the health of our campers and will go the extra mile to make sure we help you achieve your health and wellness goals. In order to insure your health and safety, we are more concerned with your form and technique than how many repetitions of an exercise you can do. Plus, every workout is different and we ALWAYS HAVE FUN!

Are you looking to be held accountable with your workouts? Are you lacking motivation and/or need a change of pace? ....THEN YES! Everyone is a good candidate for boot camp - men, women, young and old. All fitness levels are welcome and NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. What Are Workouts Like?
Our workouts incorporate all dynamics of cardiovascular and strength training exercise including: body weight strength, circuit training, resistance materials (bands, med balls, dumbbells), cardio, agility training, and balance drills and much more. Every workout will be different and you will never get bored!
What Should I Bring?
One of the great things about boot camp is that not much is required. Plan on bringing an exercise mat, running shoes, a pair of dumbells you can handle (5-8lbs), water, and a towel.
What Kind Of Results Can I Expect To See?
Within the first 4 weeks you will see an increase in strength and stamina, an increase in lean muscle and a decrease in body fat, more balance and flexibility, but most of all you will make a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. You will have more energy, be able to sleep better, and be able to walk up a flight of stairs without being winded. On top of all this, engaging in a regular workout routine will help to reduce your cholesetrol (by increasing your HDL's), lower your blood pressure and increase your cardiovascular health.
What Results Should I Not Expect From Boot Camp?
Dramatic weight loss. Yes, I said it. Do NOT join boot camp expecting to see a 20lb weight loss in your first 4-6 weeks. It takes time to see that kind of weight loss. You may watch the Biggest Loser and say "well, they are dropping that in ONE WEEK!" But what we must keep in mind is that these people are working out 6-8 hours per day and have a professional nutritionist on hand. For us regular people, a weight loss of 1-2 pounds per week is more healthy and realistic. Also, if you have never participated in strength training before, you are bound to finally gain some muscle! Adding muscle and dropping body fat might balance each other out on the scale.......DON'T GET FRUSTRATED! Your clothes will fit better and you will have the appearance of weight loss. Just remember, a person's weight is a poor determinant of how healthy and fit they are.
How Can I Increase The Results I See From Boot Camp?
NUTRITION! A healthy balance of fitness and nutrition are essential when it comes to improving your overall health and achieving your fitness goals. Most of our trainers have a lot of experience with nutrition and weight loss. If we can't answer your basic questions, then we will point you in the direction of someone who can!
We also offer
great nutrition products that will help amplify your weight loss and fitness goals.
How Will My Improvements Be Measured?
At the beginning, we will do a body composition assessement (which includes weight, BMI, Body Fat %) and take your measurements. You will also go through a muscular strength and endurance test where we will see how many squats, sit-ups, push-ups (regular and modified), and modified pull-ups (depending on location) you can do in a minute as well as how long you can hold a core plank. You will then get tested every 4-6 weeks to measure your success.
