| Rachael K, Arboretum and Round Rock Camp Rachael started boot camp back in the fall of 2010. She was getting a lot stronger and more in shape. She then added the essential nutrition component to the mix and started the 24-Day Challenge in January. Since then, she has lost 15 lbs, 6+ inches and has kicked a Dr. Pepper addiction! Her wedding dress tailor even told her she can't lose any more inches or she'll need a smaller dress size! She is going to be such a beautiful bride in July! ![]() |
Rachael in her own words.... "I used to have a lot of energy and would motivate myself to go for a run after work or go to the gym. Recently though with a growing household and a very stressful job, that motivation has basically run dry. I found Boot Camp U and I immediately fell in love. When I first started in November of 2010 I could not do one single pushup correctly. I had limited muscle definition and really had no idea what I was doing. I am now able to do 10+ Pushups correctly in a row and have some serious awesome muscles in my arms, legs, and most importantly abs. The trainers at Boot Camp U take the time to make sure you are performing the exercises correctly and keep you busy the entire hour. Boot Camp U has changed my life for the better and has motivated me to lead a much healthier and happier lifestyle! "I started on Advocare with the 24-day challenge. I recently had started packing on some pounds in all the wrong places and I also was an avid Dr. Pepper drinker. Starting Advocare has completely changed that! I eat better because my body WANTS the good food and I am down to one Dr. Pepper a MONTH at maximum. I LOVE their Spark energy drink. It really focuses me at work and keeps me from that 2pm pass out feeling. | Shirley has attended boot camp for about a year. She could barely use her left leg when she started because it was so week for a hip replacement and years of pain. Now, through lots of hard work strengthening her legs(among many other body parts), she can do everything that is asked of her and the hip doesn't hold her back at all! " I'm thrilled with the results I've gotten, I've lost 8 lbs and several inches from my chest, hips and waist. It was a rough beginning and I'd always been one of those that thought people who got up before sunrise to workout were absolutely insane, these last couple months have changed my thinking. We are all ultimately responsible for our bodies and I made the decision that I wanted to take care of mine. I'll be 48 in January and I feel pretty damn good! Along with the workouts have come better eating habits so I don't sabotage all the hard work I do. It's been great so far and looking forward to seeing more improvement on my overall being. Thanks to you and all the other trainers, you guys are what keep us going!!

"I started Boot Camp U very much overweight and out of shape, however, determined to get back the body I used to have (well, at least as much as possible). While lost weight and inches are important, even more vital to me is how I feel—happier, more energetic, and ready to face the next challenge. Next goals are to lose the belly fat, develop more long, lean muscle, and work toward my goal weight of 140-145. None of the above were in my radar until I met Robyn, who probably believed in me more in the beginning than I believed in myself. "I have been training with Robyn since July 2009. At first it was just a way to get in shape for my wedding. Then it because a passion that I hated having to miss. I saw myself getting stronger and more toned. I'm now able to run faster 5k times and finally felt strong enough to finish a half marathon. "This bootcamp is AWESOME and affordable. With a variety of convenient times and locations, one of them is bound to fit your schedule! I attended the 6 am outdoor bootcamp with Robyn for the past two months, and I have to say, it was well worth every penny. I am NOT a morning person, so it took everything in me to convince myself to get out of bed for it in the morning (especially when it was 30 degrees outside), but driving home from bootcamp, and throughout the day at work, I never once thought, "Dang, I wish I just would have slept that extra hour." I felt more awake and energized all day long. The workouts were never boring and the level of instruction was excellent. I always felt challenged, but never more than I was capable of. In two months I began to see that little bit of extra jiggle I was trying to get rid of start to stiffen up, and I felt increased strength during my regular daily activities - which were exactly my goals. If you are looking for a new fitness routine, or are trying to get back in shape, you've got to try Boot Camp U!"
