ACE Certified Personal Trainer
Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, I came to Texas to pursue an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and have loved all the time I’ve spent here. I have a B.S. in Kinesiology: Health Promotion & Fitness and am a professionally certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise. I have worked in a variety of fitness settings including high intensity group fitness classes, exercise and behavior change programs focused on weight/fat loss, one-on-one personal training, country club fitness centers, and after school programs aimed at getting children & teens more physically active. My background in sports including baseball, basketball, tennis, swimming, soccer, and volleyball reaches back as far as the day I first hit a beach ball with a plastic bat. Overall, I have a passion for fitness/wellness and helping those I instruct find new and enjoyable ways of exercising to benefit their overall quality of life.
