There are few things in life that are more satisfying than accomplishing your fitness and health-related goals. My passion lies in helping you set those goals and devising a plan to achieve them, all while enjoying the journey and celebrating along the way. It's an awesome feeling to see my current boot camp clients chipping away at their goals, whether it's watching them get stronger as they do their first full push ups, having them tell me their jeans are fitting a little looser, or mentioning that their fitness commitment and enthusiasm has inspired their spouse to begin exercising.

I'm a fitness trainer and wellness coach with a broad background in athletics, fitness, and nutrition. I have trained a variety of clientele ranging from individuals who have never been active, who seek guidance and education to live a healthier lifestyle, to elite amateur athletes needing to maintain optimum fitness and nutrition. In each instance, the approach is relatively the same – be consistent, manage your diet, and engage in the appropriate fitness routine with the right frequency, and you will get remarkable results.

One of my greatest joys is exploring Austin and the surrounding area for different outdoor activities. You can typically find me running at Town Lake, mountain biking in the greenbelt, or swimming at Barton Springs. I play in a men's soccer league and I'm also a member of Gilbert's Gazelles running club. My primary fitness goals these days focus on running and triathlons. I've run many races, including a handful of marathons, and I just completed my first Ironman 70.3 this fall. All of these personal experiences have helped me understand the importance of proper diet and nutrition as a foundation for lifelong health, as well as accomplishing new goals.

  • Certified Personal Trainer – National Council on Strength and Fitness (January 2010)
  • CPR/AED/First Aid – Annual Certification
  • Sport-Specific Training – Soccer, Running, Triathlon, etc.
  • 7 Years Experience In the Fitness Industry
